Description: A leading Food company in Woodinville is looking for an Inventory Control Supervisor This person will lead and provide direction to the team supporting inventory control to drive inventory accuracy, raw material and finished goods traceability and continuous improvement in inventory management for all inventory holding locations; support and/or lead warehouse activities supporting company goals and objectives, including the optimization of customer loyalty and the recognition of safety, productivity and financial goals; and be accountable for driving adherence to the warehouse budget and the achievement of overall warehouse and inventory control goals and initiatives. This person will be responsible for inventory control and accuracy in all internal and external inventory holding locations, working with the Warehouse leadership and Procurement teams as necessary to drive continuous improvement efforts in overall inventory management. This person will initiate, implement, and manage a weekly and monthly cycle counting methodology; drive attainment in inventory accuracy goals and metrics to include system transaction accuracy and process development and adherence; an
d oversee all planning, coordination and staffing efforts in support of bi-annual physical inventory counts at inventory holding locations. Oversight responsibility includes coordination and communication with internal/external parties and the analysis and resolution required to fix the root cause issues leading to inventory inaccuracy. This person will communicate and coordinate with Procurement and Planning in support of raw material availability for Operations and to minimize manufacturing downtime; be working with the Warehouse Supervisors, lead all efforts to improve systems traceability in raw material and finished goods inventory; and will develop labor plans and communicate and execute schedules for the inventory control team in support of the business.

A BS in Business Administration and 2-3 years of leadership experience in warehouse responsibilities is required; manufacturing experience is preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills and a familiarity with a variety of supply chain concepts, practices, and procedures is required. Strong financial acumen is required to support ad-hoc and ongoing financial analysis and budgeting exercises. Excellent time management and organizational skills, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build trust and credibility, provide direction, communicate and ensure alignment across the Supply Chain and within the Leadership Team is required. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective key business relationships with both internal staff and external contacts is required.
