Description: Our clients corporate support center in Kennesaw, GA, has an immediate position available for an Assistant Controller for a specific division. Reporting to the Divisional Controller, the Assistant Controller will be responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Payable Team. Internal control, AP policy, and proper accounting for accounts payable will be keys to this position. Other duties will include heavy month-end close responsibilities, creating and maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley documentation, as well as, providing external and internal audit schedules. As needed, internal reporting and special projects will be assigned.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors degree in Accounting and 6 - 10 years of accounting with a proven background of departmental management. A CPA candidate is a plus. This person must be proficient in a variety of software applications including Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
