Description: Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst. General functions of this position involve forecasting and budgeting using Asset/Liability Management modeling software, analyzing results to determine level of interest rate risk as it pertains to fair value of assets and earnings at risk, and related variance reporting. Responsibilities include gathering, compilation, scrubbing and analysis of data from multiple sources, model setup of extract links, rate info, statistical and other settings. Other duties include preparing proformas and break even analyses as requested from various departments and management, and interpreting results. This person serves as backup to organizational profitability processing and reporting, investment portfolio maintenance, and daily cash and liquidity management.

This position requires the ability to examine, analyze and interpret accounting and other records. Candidates must have 5+ years in Banking doing modeling, forecasting/budgeting and interest rate risk. A BS in Accounting or Finance is required. Candidates must have analytical background and excellent communication skills, and use Profitstar Software.
