Description: Tax Supervisor/Manager-Dallas, TXLeading national accounting, tax, and consulting firm focused on meeting the needs of mid-sized owner-managed business, which generally includes companies with $10 million to $500 million in annual revenues. Client provides business and consulting services, and offers industry and business-specific advice and planning strategies to help mid-sized businesses succeed.Position Description: As part of the tax team, the Tax Supervisor/Manager will be responsible for:

BR     - Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectationsBR     - Keeping lines of communication open with staff and clientsBR     - Developing an understanding of clients business and becoming a -functional expert- in the areaBR     - Leading engagement team and preparing end-of engagement evaluations for staffBR     - Monitoring and reporting regarding the productivity of staff and adhering to work plan schedules on each assignmentBR     - Ensuring professional development through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriateBR     - Anticipating and addressing client concerns and escalating problems as they ariseBR     - Initiating -cross selling- business to other practicesBR     - Promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients

Position Requirements:The ideal candidate will have four to six years experience providing tax services:

BR     - Minimum of three years experience working in a public accounting firm with current tax experienceBR     - Minimum of two years experience working in a supervisory roleBR     - Solid experience with S Corps, C Corps and Consolidated ReturnsBR     - Solid experience with FAS 109 preparation and/or reviewBR     - A proven record of simultaneously managing multiple projects and engagement teams for various clients including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence and billingBR     - CPA certificationBR     - A Bachelors degree in Accounting or related fieldBR     - Ability to train staff

Additional Experience preferred but not required:

BR     - Masters of Taxation or MBA preferredBR     - Business development experience is a plusBR     - A proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationshipsBR     - Experience with Manufacturing, Construction and/or Financial InstitutionsBR     - Experience with PartnershipsBR     - Experience with IRS audits
