Description: Kforce Professional Staffing is assisting a San Francisco client in their search for a Senior Financial Analyst with budgeting and forecasting experience. This position will be providing support to business managers through the management of the annual budget process, monthly forecasting and close processes as well as project financial analysis. This person will identify and research monthly and quarterly variances to budget and forecast, identifying opportunities for improvement. This person will assist department managers and project managers with monthly capital and expense forecast. This person will manage financial results close process, ensuring completeness of accruals and explain variances to forecast and perform a variety of business analysis that will be driven by Corporate Finance. The candidate will need to have a BS in Finance, Accounting or related field. At least 4-6 years of work experience in financial analysis is required. An MBA/CPA is a plus. Knowledge of Oracle financial systems and Essbase is a plus or other major ERP systems such as SAP or PeopleSoft. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to effectively perform these duties. A background in accounting with strong experience in analyzing and reporting financial results would also be considered.
