Description: Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Auditor to plan, direct and perform audits appraising compliance with established policies and procedures, under general supervision of the Chief Internal Auditor. The main responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: prepare of reports and related analyses; independently draft recommendations to assist management in improving internal controls; provide functional guidance and direction to less experienced staff auditors. Candidate must have knowledge of generally accepted auditing standards and procedures, including knowledge of accounting principles, computerized records and control systems. Qualifying for this position requires a minimum of five years auditing experience, three years comparable to senior staff level, preferably in internal audit environment, or experience equivalent to seven years of accounting or financial management experience at supervisory level. While a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), certification as a public accountant (CPA) or certified internal auditor (CIA) are preferred, candidate must have a BS in accounting, finance, or business administration.
