If it were not for the pusillanimity of Bush and his former AG John Ashcroft
the persecution (it was worse than prosecution) of Scooter Libby would
never have taken place.
It is just ludicrous and unacceptable that the source
of the so-called leak of Valerie Plame's non-existent undercover status with
the CIA, liberal Richard Armitage, was never even required to testify at the
trial.
Why did this happen? Why did special prosecutor Fitzgerald allow this to
happen?

<snip>
A pardon is the forgiveness of a crime and the penalty associated with
it. Is Libby ready to admit guilt? If not, a pardon is not appropriate. |

Right. And if Ann Coutler hadn't shot off her mouth with a stupid crack
last week she wouldn't have lost advertisers or have newspapers dropping
her column.
Are you really this stupid, "remailer"? Or is this just something you
save for the newsgroups? |

Libby broke the law.

George W. Bush has made the terrorists stronger, their influence wider,
their numbers larger, and their motivation to attack the U.S. and other
western interests greater. He has repeatedly abused his authority and
violated his Oath of Office by turning his back on the United States
Constitution; thereby surrendering to the terrorists by undermining American
freedoms, values, and the very foundations of our system of government.
Supporting Bush is treason.
