Description: Our client, a leading company in the food service industry, is in search of a General Accountant. Key responsibilities include: coordinating and over seeing close processes for inventory and gross profit, preparing complicated journal entries (in preparation for closes), research and resolve complex issues, maintain reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, analyze inventory components and gross profit, handle special projects as assigned.

Candidates that currently have the following are urged to apply: Bachelors degree in Finance and/or Accounting, 3 or more years of accounting experience (preferably within a retail trade related operation), solid understanding and experience in GAAP, advanced PC skills in MS (Windows, Excel, and Access).
